Coil pack for 85 12A

NH Coil pack for 85 12A

What coil pack should I use for my 85 rx-7 12A? Its fully stock the only thing it has its the header and that is it.

welcome to the board.

personally, unless something is wrong, i wouldn't waste my time with ignition at this stage. your 12A is pretty reliable and while i switched to MSD Blaster coils, i spent a lot of time on the stock (Diamond) coils and they handled all i could throw at them.

i would go to a new intake before i tried to do coils on a 12A/carbie setup.

Thanks for the advice. I wanted to upgrade the Carb setup and i thought i would have to upgrade the coil packs.

when the time comes you could look into DLIDFIS or the direct fire system based on the Gen II coils. information on both can be found in the Gen I archives.
