Clunks noise from the rear

Hello everyone, I am a new owner of a FD (5 days ), and I recently noticed a strange clunk noise from the rear when I was driving at a moderate speed (more than 80km/h) and on a bumpy road. Just wondering if anyone could give me some idea about the possible cause and any advice? Thanks!

I don't know much about the FD. As far as the FC goes, there are 10,000 threads discussing this. Its, probably a bushing. However, it could be the links or broken struts too. Usually the clunks are very hard to diagnose. The best approach is to inspect everything. Even then, some issues can still be hidden.

I wasn't taking any chances on my FC, I replaced everything. A few thousand dollars later, it's all sorted.

Edit: If the suspension is new, you might just have some binding issues.

The FD rear upper & lower arms have pillow ***** that wear out and cause the clunk.
There are 6 pillows.

I was able to eliminate an early clunk by spraying liquid wrench on the bushings.

Don't know if that is recommended actually.

Later i chased clunks all round replacing all the bushings, coilovers and adding a Sakebomb brace, etc. One shop thought it might have been my unibody frame. Clunk went away when I replaced my torsen diff,, ring and pinion gear and half shafts (to the wheels). I don't know which of all those was the issue. (Also the shop found one dif hanger bolt/nut missing0.

My apologies for not congratulating you on the purchase of the new car.
