cheap LSD for 82 FB

Looking into putting in an LSD in my 82 RX7. trying to save as much money as I can so I can spend it on other mods. Suggestions? websites?

You can try jumping from yard to yard till you find a factory LSD diff . You can also try posting in the parts wanted section and see if anyone has one that they are willing to sell. Keep in mind that the 82 is a small axle diff and it might be easier to switch to a s3 rear end then it will be to find a small axle diff at a reasonable price.

Can you be more specific ? Not sure what you mean by guts. The differential itself will fit but the axles will not. I also forgot to mention that 83 up uses a large flange for the drive shaft.

i mean basically everything but the housing. i guess ill be eventually going to the junkyards

Then no . The large axles will only fit into the large axle housing. And vise versa. The bearings are a different size .
