Save our 7's!

Guys! I have had many RX-7's and some I have bought so cheap because they were trashed! We need to keep them in decent shape! I always detail mine, do touchup paint if I get a stone chip ect.ect. I also love to use alot of undercoating, it quiets the car and makes it last! I know you guys are probally real good at keeping yours nice, but if you meet anyone else with a RX-7, let them know these are timeless sports cars! Keep them clean, tuned, don't let them set, (Bad for the seals) Spread the word...While we won't have our cars forever, make them nice for the next generation...These will be a classic's one day! Lets keep them from just being taken to junk yards!
Happy motoring & love em, & they will take care of you too! Any other detailing tips to share?

Maybe in the future people will look at our cars like we look at the R100, Rx2, Rx3, Rx4, the old Datsuns, Etc.

Yo,

Well, you'll be happy to know that I just 3+ hours detailing the 'ol engine bay. McGuiers cleaner wax, then Zymol cleaner wax. Needless to say, the firewall, shocktowers, and the underside of the hood are quite shiny. It looked good before, now it looks like I have OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). *grin*

As an owner of the rarest model of RX-7 made, I feel obligated to keep it in good shape.

Here's a pic at Sevenstock:

That's the factory paint. The car has 58,000 miles on it.
