What does the little joystick control on the center console? It is not listed in the owner's manual. It is just below the power window switches.

 

It aims the Grenade Launcher!..

What Series of Car are we talking here Cliff?(READ First post in Tech section State your CAR).

..and usually an apparatus like that would be for adjusting power mirrors,.

it is an 85 gs. I was looking through the manual and did not see anything about it. the window adjust is on the dash on the drivers side. This car could have been a gsl with power seats but, not sure if that is it or not. It has just cloth seats in it.

Would be cool if like the spy hunter car and can aim an oil slick or smoke screen.

 

Does anyone know what the little joystick does that is located in the center console just below the power window switches in an 85 gs or gsl. It is not described in the owner's manual as to what it does/controls. The controls say left, right, front, rear. If it were a power seat adjustment, would it only have front rear, up and down? I have yet to find out what it is supposed to do.

Any ideas?

OH..Duh..stereo control for speakers..

 

It only works with the original radio. If your radio has been replaced by a new modern radio, the joystick is just for looks LOL

 

Wow, never would have guessed that. I see it now on page 3-32 of the manual. It just did not show the location within the car.
