The coolant seals themselves are not too expensive. But they require the engine to be be pulled and disassembled to replace, and if you are going to do that much work, you should have it rebuild while its out. Depending on wheather you will do the work yourself or have a shop do it will be a huge difference in the cost. The rebuild kit itself could cost $900-$1000, plus the cost of labor a shop would charge could cost as much as $3000 if not more, depending on if you had them pull and install the engine.

Not sure what you're going to do, but here are a few web sites that offer rebuild kits/rebuilds.
http://www.atkinsrotary.com/index.php?pag=5
http://www.banzai-racing.com/
http://rotaryrebuildstore.com/
http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/2n...nt_damage.html

If you could pull the engine yourself, then send it to someone to do the actual rebuild, it would cost less then having a shop do all the work; plus you would get the benefit of having a someone who really knows what their doing rebuild your engine. The only problem would be shipping, but if you live in cali like your profile says, you should be able to find a good shop close to you.

I had the water pump checked out, that was fine. What should I be looking for in the radiator? leaks or clogs

mostly clogs take off the radiator cap, turn the car on and see if that water is flowing freely thru the radiator if it starts to bubble your radiator might be clog.

That sounds pretty weird, but I'm glad it wasnt something drastic like a bad coolant seal.
