car won't start
I bought an 82 RX7 race car set up for road racing. It has log books for SCCA & NASA (don't know if that matters) I have not raced the car yet, however I have fired it up a few times (with some issues), after the last time I started the car I changed the spark plugs. The old plugs were saturated with oil. The car is not starting now, it turns but not firing up. It kind of feels like it's not getting fuel into the carburator, however when I first got it I put in four gallons of gas into the fuel cell, so it does have gas.
Any suggestions as what could be wrong with it??
Thank you.

If you think fuel isn’t getting to the carburetor and want to confirm that, try pouring a little gas into the carb throat and then cranking the engine over. If it fires briefly then you know it’s a fuel supply issue….bad fuel pump, or loss of power to the pump, plugged filter…
