Hey yall - newbie here. So I had some issues with my 85 GS running insanely rich, then adjusted the floats (the little metal spring got stuck and float tabs needed to be adjusted). After being adjusted to spec, it doesn't smell as rich now BUT it won't hold idle. I swear I have checked almost all the vaccuum connections, but I will continue to check again.

Partner thinks it was the throttle opener needed adjusting, but had that loosened and tightened and almost no change, but I will loosen it again and check. I checked if there was fuel coming out with ignition on and sure enough there was and I didnt see any debris. I can hear the fuel pump going, but I haven't checked the fuel filter. Im loosing my mind trying to make this thing just hold idle like it did!
