Car cover needed

I will be parking my 1979 RX-7 back out in the driveway again! My old car cover fell apart. I live in DFW area of Texas. Extreme heat and rain-sometimes hail. What moderate priced water-proof yet breathable material would you recommend?

There are any number of options and retailers out there. Sophistication depends on your needs and budget. Google is your friend.

Yepper- but hoping to fine people that have a particular cover they like. Too many choices at too many price ranges. I need one that is easy to take off and gives protection from rain and sun.

I'd just opt for a cheap one honestly. I bought expensive car covers and I honestly don't see that much of a difference.

Here is the cover I use:

Coverite 10902 Car Cover Fits Sedan Car 161" to 170" (407-432 cm) (Prestige, Gray) Coverite 10902 Car Cover Fits Sedan Car 161" to 170" (407-432 cm) (Prestige, Gray)

It was recommended by my coworker who was using the same type for over a decade on his Porsche. You don’t need an expensive one, as it also reflects on how “custom” it is. A generic one is fine as long as it's breathable 5 layer waterproof/sun proof. Car covers won’t last forever, change it every 2 years if used outdoor.

As this has been discussed in countless threads, here are what others on this forum recommended. (I used the search function):

Hope this helps and good luck finding your cover!

Sorry, Billy- your url site doesn't work. And most of your search threads are out of date.

Sorry gosman, but this is "RX7 New member TECHNICAL" section, not the "I'm too lazy to google" section. Maybe next time you can do your own search, find your own url and determine for yourself what threads are "out of date".

Sorry Billy- it has nothing to do with searching of which I am pretty expert in doing. I had a car cover before, and it wasn't very good. Just trying to get other people's experience with their covers.
