Buzzing/whining noise coming from oil cooler line

Hi,

I have had a 1990 JDM RX-7 for 2 years now and have had a good run with it so far.

Just recently, I have had an intermittent whine/buzz coming from the top oil cooler line when the engine is cold. It is quite loud and can be easily heard in the cabin.

The original cooler lines have been replaced with new due to the old ones leaking and the cooler itself has also been replaced with a second hand oem unit due to a crack in the tank around the thermostat bolt. However the noise has started only recently. It is very intermittent.

This post also descibes the same issue however there is no reply with a cause/solution.

Has anybody else had this issue? Is it something I should be concerned about apart from the annoyance. Oil pressure is always good.

Thanks.
