NY bridgeport question

so I just picked up an 86 rx7 that's bridgeported and its still on the stock ecu and stock injectors. can anybody recommend a good ecu to run so I can get it tuned and see whats actually goin on in the motor before I boost it or spray it.

theres a place in Columbus and he recommends haltec...but I don't have anything lined up actually yet...ive had the car for 3 weeks today

well, the accepted advice for questions like this is to use whichever EMS your tuner is familiar with, so if that's the place you're likely to use, then look into getting a Haltech.

just curious ... this place that you mentioned, does he have experience tuning rotaries?

that's good to hear...I never got around to getting a tune on my 87 gxl I had race ported so I have no experience with ems, but ya gotta start somewhere!! Im hopin to make around 200 to the wheels and id be happy for what it is, I love brappin away at stop lights and people just look at me like wtf is wrong with ur car! cracks me up...heres a pic of her

I see...I don't know much but that seems like a hell of a lot of fuel, what size turbo do you have? im planning on swappin to t2 secondaries if it doenst have enough fuel once I get to the tuners.

ah it all comes togather now lol. now that I finally have a good job, im gonna look into a 20b swap if/when the 13b blows up, shes gonna get the best of everything since I can finally afford it.

149xxx on the chassis now and 1500 on the rebuild im really tempted to buy this dry nitrous kit off a buddy for $150 bucks but I need new pads and rotors since the PO rode the brakes like a old lady and warped the rotors and I think im gonna order a dual belt alternator pulley to make sure the belt doesn't slip, that's the last thing I need to happen!

That nitrous kit sounds like a good deal man. Yeah i would upgrade the belt and brakes. Safety first hahaha good luck man
