brake issue

hey guys, weird thing is going on when i brake with my 87 FC TII.

when i depress the brake pedal, its gotta go maybe halfway before i actually get some stopping power.

the pads have atleast 50% left on them , i've bled the brakes, this is leading me to maybe my brake booster is going bad ??

any thoughts guys ?

thanks.

Replacing old brake lines and changing the brake fluid would be a good place to start. Brake fluid absorbs water, which can lead to compression (and corrosion), and old rubber lines can expand under pressure. Both of these can affect pedal travel.
