Brake/engine rev issue

So my fd has been acting up. For some reason when im comming to a stop and I put the car in neutral and press the brakes, the engine revs and drops until i let off the brake. The brakes feel stiff when the happens. Im pretty sure it has something to do with the brake booster and maybe a vacuum leak. Anyone else have this problem and if so what are the remedies?

sounds like you already have a handle on it just check hoses out for leaks . Me thinks maybe you have a bad booster . Gerald m. go to http://rx7.foxed.ca/ to download the service manual for your car
