WA boost

I was wondering if it was safe to run 10psi on stock intercooler and fuel system setup. I was told it was ok as long as i had a air/fuel controller. im just looking for some other opinions so im not detonating my motor from lack of fuel.

Thank you
Marcus

No, I wouldn't recommend any more than 9 psi on stock fuel. The fuel pump is the weakest link, and cannot supply the needed flow once fuel pressure increases much above stock (1:1 rising rate). The injector staging at 3800 RPM is also not suited to increased boost in the mid-range.

A simple setup that would allow you to run up to 12 psi would be:

Rtek 1.7
720cc secondary injectors
FD fuel pump
