Hello Club,
so I have a 93 FD and have the following upgrades exhaust hks single, Radiator, fans, gas pump and I have a v-mount intercooler, piping, waste gate and all I need is a single turbo.
The problem is is I live on an island in the pacific with 50k people and I’m the only one with 3 FDs and there are no tuners. I have a drift setup with the apexi ECU and controller on a single turbo but my daily driver which I want to swap I’m scared as I don’t know what to buy without having a tuner to help after the swap.
Whoa lol, pretty wild scenario you laid out here. What you're asking for really isn't possible or safe. Going single and then doing nothing about the tuning aspect is a recipe for trouble. I can only imagine what you would have to do for an engine rebuild.
In a unique situation like yours, you'd be best off getting a map sent to you or getting an ecu that allows for remote tune or of course......... learning to tune. You can try and reach out to a few tuners and offer to fly them out. A small 2 or 3 day vacation to tune an fd might be appealing to someone.

And bigger injectors, and turbo manifold, and downpipe, and wide band, and turbo oil lines, and heat shielding, and plumbing to your IC, and intake....
i have to admit, my first reaction to your car what something like ... "What the ????" however, after reading you post and seeing your location, and having a context, i must say, the sock evaporated and i think your car looks nice.
now, your proposal is a bad idea. Cr-rex already laid out the particulars, so no need to repeat all of that. suffice it to say, if you can import the parts, then you should perhaps warm to the idea of importing a competent tuner to insure everything plays nice with each other.
