You don't want restrictions and you don't want it to be loud..... does not compute.

Your best bet would be a resonated midpipe + a RB catback, a resonated MP doesn't add that much restriction, and is a ton quieter than a regular MP...plus its a street car so a little restriction at the expense of extreme loudness should be fine.

Get a A`PEX-i PS Revolution with a resonated midpipe. The piping is 3" for about an inch, then goes into 3 1/4" for about 3 inches, then into 3 1/2" for about 5 inches, and from there to the canister is 3.75". Only problem is the exhaust is expensive. Hella rare though. I havent ran into anyone with the same exhaust ever...Then get a RX7store resonated midpipe.

Unless you have your smog situation worked out, then I wouldn't go crazy with a 4". If you have to pass CA smog, you'll need a CAT (restriction) and you'll want to keep the police from eyeing you everytime you drive by with decibel meters in hand (loudness).

Maybe the RB Dual Tip and a good CAT - would be best for a CA vehicle. You're gonna have to run a CAT if you want to pass CA smog.

If you don't have to pass smog, then you can widen your options to whatever you want but be prepared to eventually have to pop the hood with a California License Plate.

Jerome's setup is pretty interesting but ever 4" I've heard in person is loud as f*@k.

thanks everyone for the info. I am thinking of just going with a rb single with resonated midpipe or borla xr1. I hope this does not screw up my current tune.
