best engine for drag racing fd

Hello everyone, I am going to be buying an FD roller and i am unsure as to what engine and transmission I should put in it for a drag purpose car. I want the car to still be street legal and I want to run boost. Are the rotarys good engines for drag. I feel like they lack torque. Let me know with any info!

A 20b will not lack torque but will break any man's wallet.

Depending on how fast you want to go,will depend on how Deep your wallet is.
With that being said, how fast you want to be on the Track will also dictate how Legal the car would be on the street!

Racing Beat is selling a complete 3 rotor engine that they claim makes around 1000hp. I'd say thats a good choice. Just put a cat on v-bands or something. Admittedly $48,000 sounds like a lot but if they've already ironed out the bugs then it's a reasonable price for that level of power.
