Twin turbo first gen

Hey guys, I am considering a stock standard 13b twin turbo in series 3 rx7 1985 model, the reason is I can have reasonable performance with sticking to all the strict laws in Australia, I plan on retaining all the standard emissions gear, ecu and sensors etc. I know someone on here was starting a project like this but I can't reply to the thread because I'm new!! Cheers for any advise

what series of car is this engine coming out of?
I think you would be good with a Series 5 TII engine.
Twin Turbo's are on an FD.

I'm interested in doing the same to my 85, do you have any suggestions on the best place to find such an engine?

welcome to the board.

i'm not exactly sure what your question is here. I don't presume to know all the Gen I guys that have gone REW, but I honestly can't remember any that chose to keep the twins off hand. however, if you have already identified such a thread here, then why not just get your posts up until you are able to participate in it?

I know the laws are different "down under", but going single would make your lie somewhat easier as I believe there is a physical fitment issue you'll have to contend with with the twins.

agreed.

also remember where he is. he'd have access to the Cosmo's REW (RE).

I agree with misterstyx69. if you want to go turbo, S5 is easier and virtually just as good.
