anyone know about grounding the pressure sensor???
so my na 88 fc was hitting that wall at 3800 rpm, and i read about the grounding the pressure sensor fix,so i tried it, but now my car wont start at all... i reversed the process, and still nothing... i grounded the black/white wire to the shock tower. was that the correct wire?? did i fry the sensor? would that even keep it from starting?? i have no blown fuses, or relays... it turns over, but doesnt even want to crank...PLEASE HELP!!! im a rotor noob, but willing to take the headaches for such a unique car.

Directly from the 2nd gen FAQ:
The dreaded 3800 RPM hesitation is cause 90% of the time by poor ground connections between the engine, the battery, and the car. Clean or replace all the under hood ground connections. On 86 model year cars , replacing/regrounding the pressure sensor's ground wire has helped (do not re-ground a 87 or later model year). If there is still a problem after that, look at cleaning the fuel injectors and (on a N/A) that your 5th/6th ports are operating correctly.

Grounding the pressure sensor, even if it is not required, is not going to hurt anything. The stock ground wire already goes back to the ECU and then grounds to the engine, so adding another will have no effect.
If it is grounded incorrectly, to the wrong wire for example, there will be issues. Check the boost sensor per the instructions in the FSM.
