Is there any rebuild shop in Canada? I live near Ottawa and Montreal
I sadly have to rebuild my engine but i dont think im gonna do it myself.
But i will pull it out and ship it or bring it to the shop if its near.

I have not tryed to pressurized the rad to see if theres any pressure that goes out during the nigth or any other diagnostics.. BUT I GOT ALL THE SYMPTOMES that one of my Inner water O ring is done.. at the beginning my overflow was spilling coolent,white smoke when starting the car after a night or cooling down, low lev coolent after cooling down or after a night, No white smoke when hot(thermostat open) and high revs, strange thing...my coolent does not seems to smell fuel... my rx7 fd3s is still running, good start and idle seems fine.. there is that weird sound coming of i dont know were like when you blow in a bottle of beer and makes that wouuuu sound at 2400rpm to 2500rpm and 2900rpm to 3000rpm in any gear...

like i said i did not done any diagnostics yet, i will remove the spark plug to see if wet or coolent in there and i will pressurized the rad to see lose of pressure...etc

1.Any other diagnostic i can do?

2.Any shop location in Canada near Ottawa or Montreal

3.Do coolent damage internals parts if it stays in combustion chamber? can it leaks in the oil? like in a piston engine when the oil is contamined with coolent and eat and dmg the crank bearings? Can it damage the twin turbo?

Most shops that at least know what a rotary engine is are located in the Toronto area. There is one shop, Carrera Motors LTD, located in Montreal (Chomedey) that may be able to help you out but I have no knowledge of their competence or if they actually rebuild engines.

You could also remove the engine and ship the shortblock to Kevin Landers in Tennessee for a reasonably-priced rebuild.

i will also post in canada forum today

i actually got 2 engines at home : one in my car and the other one is out and has 2 new turbo with 6000kms, i was VERY LUCKY i bought the engine with tranny, the ecu, 2 brand new twin turbos..and alot of more parts for only 350$. anyways..(this one leaks coolent from a outer O ring)

both engine has approx. 69000 kms to 70000 kms

So what i wanna do, is ship the engine that is already out and let my 7 sit for a little bit
(i dont know wich engine may be in better condition) any tricks to know wich one is better? WITHOUT getting both apart and fully inspected.

Does the coolent damaging the rotor housing or the inner parts?
