87 t2 swapped gxl

i fired up my 87 gxl turbo 2 swap this mornin and drove to the convenience store (half mile) got out the car like i always do and left it running went inside the store came out and she had either stalled or somthing else so i cranked it and nothing so i figured it was flooded i turned off the fuel pump(i have a switch installed for flood clear) and she just back fired really loud so i tried again to no result it did nothing after the back fire. I then thought maybe im not getting any fuel so i pulled the fuel pump out of the tank and its working fine i then checked spark and i have great spark (jumped off screw driver and hit my hand) so i dont think the damn thing blew apex seal on both rotors just sitting there idling anyone have any ideas

Have you checked for fuel or compression?

Maybe your fuel filter got clogged?

is it even cranking over? make sure all electrical connections are secure. maybe your battery died cause your alt coulnt charge it just sitting at idle. what ever the case check all possiblilities. it can be a small thing creating a big problem.

Pull the plugs and check for excessive fuel, then replace the plugs. If the car keeps flooding horribly, you may have lost an injector.

Aaron thanks how do I tell witch injector I lost I know its one of the primarys and yes horrible flooding so I replaced the plugs and it fired I kept it running and cleared out excess fuel and shut it off it fired back up and I drove it to work it ran like it always has run good I ran the **** out of it clear all the excess fuel on my way I have no stumble or stall so I guess it just got super flooded or my plugs crapped out because now its fine also car is premixed and I put to much oil with the gas so I could put some of the blame on that thanks for the info
