Does anyone have any experience with aluminum housings? Are they easy to install? How long do they last? I have access to new pair of them and am interested in installing them on my 13B.

you'll have to wait until you can access the other areas of the board. there are a few discussions on here. Not sure if any of them contained the install or longevity specifics, but from what I remember, there is some useful info to gather.

if you want, you could always contact one of the more fore-running rotary outfits - Racing Beat, Defined Autoworks, Mazdatrix, etc. and get their input.
