Air Pump Bypass?
The air pump (smog pump) on my 94 twin turbo froze up & because of the way the belts are routed, I can't drive the car till I get a replacement (belt also drives water pump & I think also the alternator).
Is there any way to temporarily route a belt in a way that drives the water pump, etc, but bypasses air pump?

Yes there is a way to do that. You need to correct size belt. Run a string through the belt path to measure length and go to the parts store and get a belt of a similar size. W/o the airpump, the belt may slip and not provide sufficient tension to properly spin the water pump under hard acceleration.
