AFM broken?

AFM broken?
Would that broken side on the bottom right of my AFM affect it? My FC is currently reving to 3k then dies out, with no idle. If I hold up the flapper door, it starts and idles, put as soon as i let go of the flapper or give it any throttle with the gas pedal, it dies off.
