I just put an FM bluetooth receiver in mine. I might do something different if I get around to putting new speakers in it.
It was ~$16 on Amazon and works surprisingly well. I didn't have to make any alterations to the car. It just lives in the lighter outlet and you tune it to a station that isn't being used for anything locally. My phone connects without issues. It also has a usb charging outlet on the side if that's important to you.
