1994 rx7 is having issues with the fuel pump relay signal from ecu to ecu on the b/w wire. Changed the ecm 3 times, still no luck. checked fuel pressure, checked connections, checked continuity thru out the whole harness, replaced FP relay, EGI relay, Circuit opening relay, resistor and still nothing.

- what i found out so far-

grounded the b/w wire from ecu, car will start and stay on because the circuit will be completed and manages to close the relay for power to the fuel pump.

If started and the key is kept in the start position it will keep running without any hesitation what so ever, however if the key is released from the start position it will run for 4 secs and stall. thought that the ignition switch could have been bad so i replaced it as well and still continues to do the same fault.


has anyone ever encountered this problem????
