egi comp fuse blows and high beam indicator on
got a bit of a problem here maybe someone can help a guy out
last night driving home the car quit running and the egi comp fuse was blown. put a new fuse in the slot and the second i turn the key to the on position it blows the fuse. just before the fuse blows it blinks the headlights on all in a split second.
I have been having a issue with my high beam indicator coming on when i drive for an extended time at night or sitting at a stop light with my foot on the brakes. the highbeams bleed over into the normal lamps as well and now this problem.
just before the car died my headlamps would not shut off until i took the key out and as i left the parking lot the lamps just shut off and then a few sec. later the entire car died.
i have found my white/red wire into my underhood fuse block has continuity to ground but i cant find in any diagram what this wire is for or goes to.
anyone have any thoughts?

its a s4 not a vert. it has a turbo2 engine but it is a non turbo body. i know its not supposed to have ground on the fuse block but i do not know what its supposed to control or power to.
