94 FD Random Black Box

Hi, I was poking around my car and found this black box in the passenger footwell, I couldn't find any marking on it and have no idea what it does. As far as mods go I just have a turbo time and viper alarm. Any ideas?

It wasn't put there by MAZDA. Something Audio related maybe?

On a side note, if you have the stock twin tubos the TT is kinda useless since they're water cooled.

Looks like an alarm module.

Thanks, I'm kinda worried about the wiring job for this + the head unit + turbo timer, it's a mess and there's open ended wires everywhere haha.

I know little about alarm systems...what was the logic behind installing an aftermarket system on the FD? Was the factory system THAT lacking?
