91 Rx7 N/A SAFC2 install
buddy has a naturally aspirated 91 Rx7. have a spare SAFC2 laying around and would like to hook it up. Got it from a Turbo II. Can this be done on an N/A and is there a writeup anywhere? is the install the same as the Turbo II model? please nobody replying why or with an answer saying ditch the safc. just need some help on installing please.

SAFC section: https://www.rx7club.com/super-afc-123/. There's a wiring sticky thread just for this.
An AFC is a good tool for an NA car, but I wouldn't suggest making any changes without a wideband 02 sensor. The top-end on an S5 NA can be leaned out a little to extract some more power, but if you go too far you can ruin the engine. The Rtek site has some info on this too: http://www.pocketlogger.com/index.ph...age=2&ecu=S5NA.

yes but they talk about installing it on a turbo model and the links are for turbo models as well. is the wiring the same as a turbo II for an N/A rx7?

Within the same series, very little is different between NA and TII ECU pinouts. You can compare the two yourself with the free FSM. Links are in the 2nd gen FAQ. Off the top of my head, there shouldn't be anything related to SAFC wiring that would be different. An AFC just taps into a few signals like the tach and AFM, and those pins don't differ.
