91 JDM FC Sensor Issues
Car is a 91 JDM s5 fully rebuilt from RX7 specialties in Calgary, upgrades:
-Air pump removed
-double alternator pully
-corksport turbo inlet pipe
-K&N air filter (off air meter)
-electric fan
-aftermarket rad
-720 cc secondary injectors
-FD fuel pump
-Greddy BOV
-3 in turbo back exhaust
I am running stock ecu, car starts up and idles fine, i let it warm up. Accelerates fine and has good power, about 3 mins in it bogs out and wont rev over 2500 rpm, idle bounces up and down between 1500 and 700 rpm and seems to be leaning out according to my autometer wideband surges to lean with the iratic idles pulses.
Ive replaced the air meter with one from a working engine, not sure what to check next?

Do you have any way to adjust fuel? The FD fuel pump is going to cause a minor rich condition but I doubt that's what is causing the issue.
Typically these symptoms point to vacuum leaks and a maladjusted TPS. The BAC ties to compensate and ends up chasing the idle.

Thanks, I will be leak testing for vac leaks and try to adjust TPS. Also in my search for the problem i found there was a bare wire running inside the wire jacket for the o2 sensor and the BAC wondering what it is and if it was a ground or somthing?

I may have found the issue! When I was putting the engine back in I had to splice in new connectors for MAP and AFM(they cut everything on core engines from japan) there was 5 brown wires 3 with black line and 2 with white line, i didnt think they matttered but looking at the air meter diagram they are definately specific! I cant seem to find a pinout digram of the ECU for S5 JDM or MAP.

I believe the pinout on the USDM and JDM Ecu is the same, so this should work.
