90 n/a vibration problems
so i recently bought a 90 n/a with 88k original. after a few weeks of driving it, it started making a terrible vibration noise that is loud and shakes my whole car. the guy i bought it from said that the throw out baring was going bad in it but didn't give an explanation as to what it would do to the car. i don't know if this is the cause of the vibration but i need some help pointing me in the right direction to stat looking for the problem. i have noticed under the car that there is a metal mounting bracket that has a nice quarter sized hole in the middle of it maybe that could be it? please help.

The throw out bearing is clutch related and I haven't seen one that would cause Vibration.
Can you get a pic of that Mount with the Hole in it and post it?
Vibration can stem from anything..like badly balanced wheels, driveshaft us joints,Rear diff mount, tranny mounts..etc,etc.
If you can isolate it and post up more info then solutions can be given.

i forgot to mention one very important factor it only vibrates when i stop and if i give it gas with the clutch in and the p brake is up it will stop vibrating at like 1200 rpms. and yes when i get home from work tomorrow i will take some pics and post them cant i post them in a reply so you dont have to go to my page to niew them?
if its the throw out bearing noise will seize when the clutch pedal is pressed in sounds like you might have something else maybe a case of some bad motor.trans mounts along with the throw out
