89 fc wont idle
89 fc wont idle
I just deleted the omp and the smog pump. In the process pretty much all of the vacuum lines broke. I went through and replace all the lines that I could see were broken as I reassembled the intake. When I fired it up she rev'd like mad. I blip the throttle and it stops revving all the way up but won't idle at all. Without giving gas the car just dies. Any suggestions, maybe there is a vacuum leak somewhere that I didn't see, or I screwed up putting the throttle cable back on? Thanks

Congratulations.But SORRY...in a BAD way.
You can't remove the OMP from a Series 5 or the ECU goes into limp mode.
And the smog pump is used to activate the VDI (aux ports)
So unfortunately those "mods" that you have done just set you back 2 steps.

So I can't just leave the omp plugged in while I get the Ecuador chipped? Also the smog pump has to be in place? I couldn't just put a hose from the air box? Damn. That's what I get for not reading up.
