88 vert is breaking up and doesn’t sound right. Help!

I have an 88 vert 13b that I’m currently turning into a hardtop ( YouTube dreaming Drifter) and it’s been garage kept since I bought it. It has ran fine and I haven’t had any problems up until now. When I start the car and it’s idling it sounds like it has a lope and when you hold the gas down a bit it wants to break up really bad. I am new to the whole rotary engine and don’t have much experience with it. I have a video on my Instagram (dtc_rx7) of what it’s doing and what it sounds like. I would greatly appreciate some help and knowledge on what’s going on! So if you could please check out my video I have on Instagram and let me know what you guys think it could possibly be. Thanks for your time!
