is your alternator spinning continiously? maybe the sparkplugs isnt firing on the second rotor. check the coils for the second rotor and see if its firing.

Both rotors always rotate together, so there is no delay "before the 2nd rotor starts up".

Can you provide a clear and detailed description of the problem and symptoms?

yea sry i was at work when i posted this trend and i was in a hurry. i have a 13b sitting in my shop that will turn about one and a half turns then it will lock up. it was bolted to a trans when i got it and the guy i got it from said the trans was bad and wouldnt let the motor turn over. but when i took the trans off, the pressure plate bolts had backed out and was hitting the bell housing. i thought this was the problem but it wasnt. now with the pressure plate off im turning the motor over with a wrench on the crank pulley bolt. but like i said it turns about one and a half times then locks up

It sounds like an internal problem caused by mechanical damage or carbon. You can spray carb cleaner into the intake, spark plug and exhaust holes, leave it for a few days, and then see if it frees up. Diesel fuel also works well. Slowly rock it back and forth, apply more cleaner, then try again.

Through the exhaust ports you can also observe the apex seals.
