Back at it again with the rotary.. Woke up one morning and it wouldnt crank, turn over or anything. Starter looked shot, replaced it with a new one. 80a fuse blew, replaced that. Ignition switch is okay, clutch is okay, flywheel is okay. I have no idea what is going on. Ive tried jumping it but still nothing. Fuel pump kicks on, signals and wipers work. Tried push starting it with a car going 30mph, nothing. Any advice or information is highly appreciated!!!! Ive been trying to tackle this problem for weeks now. When i turn the key the fuel pump kicks on but it wont crank or turn over. All you hear is a ticking sound from underneath the center console while at the same time the MPH tac starts moving lol. Once held down for a few seconds longer the ticking stops and starts grinding in a way. Im gonna recheck all the wiring to the starter. Its a brand new starter although the red tab was flat instead of round. would that play a part in this? Sorry for the long rant! I cant seem to get this figured out.
