Ok so my car i get in i get it to start i touch the gas it dies. I keep trying and it will run one time no different and ill hit the gas and i have to hold it over about 4500-5000 other wise it dies. So after its running it idles just fine sounds good. runs ok breaks up at about 4500 and on but it still runs good. Then i let it idle for more then about 1min and it dies. Then i try to restart it and it wont. If i shut if off and not let it die and try to restart it, it wont start still. It will sound like you can hear the car fireing as if it was running really slow whlie the starter is going. Basically wants to run just barley wont. So after about 30-40min (again if im lucky) it will restart. It will usually start the first crank only when its cold or if im getting jumped and its been sitting for a lil bit. I cant figure out this car any help is appriciated.

and it has a new starter, PS pump, waterpump and various other stuff.

hopefully some one else can add more insight or at least confirm my thought, but it sounds like the car is flooding (too much fuel/ running rich)

Thanks for the advice i need to get 10 posts to get the link so it will be a min so another quick question it flooding my buddy said that its me thats doing it but i dont hit the gas at all. it will run for 2 sec and then die if i hit the gas or not till its warmed up a lil it wont run but ill look in the manual and see what i can find it is just parts are expensive so its always good to double check

+1 or could be bad plugs not providing enough spark. but my moneys on flooding cause of leaky injectors. where in CO are you/ I used to live in FOCO

i live in greely but im willing to drive the car up to 70 80miles if someone knows something about fc's and is willin to spend a day helping me. But if it is leakey injectors sending them in to get them cleaned and stuff wouldnt stop that would it?

Ok now the car warms up to about half way or just a lil above, it use to run right above the third line. i got it to idle ok but if i hit the gas and rev it it will die, now when ever i try to start it after i drive it it will turn over and you will hear it start to sputter but it doesnt ever have the power to keep going to run(idle). i really need help with this car
