87 Mazda RX-7 FC 13b Bridgeport starts and dies after few seconds

Appreciate the help in advance. I have an 87 Mazda rx7 fc manual 5spd with a 13b Bridgeport non turbo engine. Fresh rebuild with paperwork to prove. It starts after cranking for a while and then dies after a few seconds. It will have slight throttle response when it does start for the few seconds. Long story short, I bought it from someone not so mechanically inclined, he had the battery cables flipped. I installed a new starter, battery, coil packs, spark plugs, fuel filter and a (new to me) ecu which I opened up to solder a new resistor in that was burnt out. I’ve gone through as many forums and websites to go through everything I could think of. Ohmed out wires from injectors and main relay to the ecu, check ok. I’m positive I’m getting spark. The main relay and crank angle sensor check on when ohmed out. I’ve tried re timing the crank angle sensor so it’s lined up correctly. All grounds seem to be good and tight. I tried jumping the fuel connector at the afm. Also ohmed the afm and checks good according to specs. Pulled the fuel rail and spits fuel when cranking. Right now I’m about to throw a new fuel pump, injectors, and fuel pressure regulator at it. Also the clutch/neutral switch seem to be engaging properly as well. Any ideas please help, thanks a bunch

To answer my own question for those with similar issues. I installed the pump, injectors, and fuel pressure regulator. The car now starts and runs, however it will need to be timed and then an upgraded ecu.
