87 13B swap into a 84 Rx-7

I've been doing the reading and need to swap a 87 13B into a 84 Rx-7 body. I understand the transmission/ flywheel problem, fuel pump problem, front cover and oil pan problems, etc.

I can get around those. I searched and found info about a turboII swap. Can anyone show me where to find info on wiring the computer from an 87 rx-7 up. I have a running fuel injected 13b car, I would like to swap EVERYTHING over, AFM, TPS, injectors, intake, etc and have it just like it is in the 87 but just in the 84 body. I will use the 84 distributer from the 84 if I need to so its just getting the computer to wire up and run the fuel injection that I need to worry about.
I searched but had no luck. Any help would be appreciated.Thanks.

Don't run the dizzy.

Swap the entire EFI system from the '87 into the '84.

You'll find turbo swapping instructions in the FAQ for the 1st gen.

Now, in the 2nd gen FAQ you will find complete wiring diagrams. Get yourself a copy of the factory service manual and Haynes manual.

Use the wiring diagrams to strip all the unnecessary stuff from the harness. They will also show you where to connect 12V and ground.

Have you checked the 1st gen FAQ and Archives? This is a very common swap.

You need to start reading up in the 1st gen section, this is one of the 3 most asked newb questions.

There is a wire cut list in the 1st gen archives, search using Steve84GS as the thread starter. Writeup is for a TII swap, but you should be able to figure out the differences between the turbo and NA wiring. You didn't say if you're going NA or TII. You also need to address fuel supply safety. Are you going with a low pressure lift pump and surge tank, etc..

Not sure what you mean by flywheel issues. Not really a concern if going NA. TII is another problem in itself. Modding the shifter housing is needed either way.

What part of KS? I'm an hour north of KC. You can PM or e-mail for specific questions.

Since you're in the neighborhood, improve and/or proofread your spelling and I might even help you more. Btw, I prefer trochoid or Scott, 'man' just sounds to impersonal. We all have our little quirks, that's one of mine.
