Mariah GTO-1 Wide body?

I have searched the forums and as of yet have not found any threads concerning the GTO-1 Racing Wide body from Mariah.

Has anyone in the forums used it?

The Mariah GTO kit is not a common kit that one finds on the street. The one I have is still rare but more often seen. My kit came from CP Racing, which no longer sells them. Mostly due to poor customer service. BlackDragon.com sells a similiar, if not identical kit. Downside to BD's kit is one can't buy individual parts of the kit if part of it's damaged. BD only sells the entire kit, which is what I'm going through right now. I damaged the center section of the front air dam and am having to rebuild that part from scratch.

The GTO kit will take wider, taller wheels/tires than the BD one will. I believe the BD kit is based one of the old the Pacifica kits. Once the front and rear big brake kits is installed, I'll sporting 225/50/15 tires on 15X9" rims in the front and 245/50/15s on 15X10" rims on the rear. While the body kit itself looks pretty wild, that's only a small part of all the work that's been done done.

The following thread covers part of my widebody build, enjoy. Dan S Young also has the same widebodykit.

My toy. https://www.rx7club.com/build-threads-293/unvieling-12a-bp-widebody-462184/

Thanks Trochid,

I understand the work even though I haven't gotten as far as you yet, My car is nothing but a bucket at the moment but it seems as if you had alot of the same Ideas I had.

Really nice looking FB

Once I figure out how to use this forum and picture uploading I'll have to start a thread of my project

Thanks for the compliment. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me. Much of the entire project was a learning experience for me since most of it I had never done before so I've acquired many new skill sets. Hopefully I can save you from making many of the inexperienced mistakes that I made.
