86 wiring harness with N327 ECU
Is the N327 ECU plug and play into the stock wiring harness for a 1986 RX-7? I found topics about the ECU having nothing to do with the injectors being high or low impedance, and that the 88 harness connectors are rounded and weather proof but still the same color diagram.

Yes you can use the N327 on the harness,it is plug and play.(can use the N327 or N326 ECU)
The ECU sees HI impedance anyways. The 86-87.5 car has a resistor pack connected into the harness,so it takes the LO impedance injectors and changes them to HI for the ECU.
The 88 Harness has NO resistor pack but uses HI impedance injectors.
The FAQ's in the "stickies"have the Injector part numbers that correspond to HI and Lo...also,color,etc for Identification if needed.
