'84 GSL-SE oil on floor... weird spot.
Hi everyone,
I bought an '84 GSL-SE last summer (168k miles), original engine, no mods.
I drove it for a few months, then put in the garage for the winter. After 8 months of storage, I took it out last weekend, only to notice there's a small puddle of oil on the floor approximately the size of a tea towel.
The weird part is that the oil spot on the floor indicates a leak at the back of the car, directly between the rear wheels. The oil is light brown in colour, orderless and still wet to the touch. I suspect brake fluid, but maybe there's another part back there that would leak oil?
Does any one have any thoughts? I'm very new to RX-7's so pardon my lack of expertise with this question.
Cheers,
Deaner

Hi guys,
I jacked up the car and found that it's leaking where the differential meets the driveshaft (see attached image).
There's no noticeable crack or damage anywhere, but is still safe to assume that it's a broken Pinion Seal causing the leak?
Thanks.
