I may be old but I am new to this car and forum. I was wondering if there is a common reason for horns not working? Car has been parked for about 9 years with 89k kms. When parked horns worked. Is there a relay and where is it located? battery is new and car has been driven and only revealed three problems--pwr windows slow (need lubrication), radio speakers blown (will replace tomorrow) and horn not working. Anyone with suggestion for the horns would be appreciated.

welcome to the board.
1. the horn relay should be under the dash, somewhere near the clutch pedal. that's about as good as I can do without looking at a wiring reference. speaking of which, this is a great time to download a copy of the FSM from foxed.ca - when you find it, you can jump the relay to confirm that it's bad.
in the meantime, did you have any reason to remove the steering wheel between the time you parked it and now?
2. for the power windows, all I will say is welcome to the world of Gen I power windows. if it goes up and down straight, then the regulators are probably fine. lubing them can't hurt though. electrically speaking though, people have done everything from pulling the switches apart and cleaning the contacts, to adding relays to the circuits.
