Question 80W90 vs 75W90

So i'm looking up different gear oils for my 88 FC. now the manual suggests 80W90 gear oil. but i found this oil on Mazdatrix "Idemitsu Racing Gear Oil" but it only comes in 75W90. Would this still be sufficient lubrication? Have any members ever tried this brand? >>>>>check it out>> https://www.mazdatrix.com/q-supply.htm

Realistically your not going to notice any difference, even if you dynoed it.

Most synthetic oil is 75W-90 rather than 80W-90, and it will flow better in cold weather. Idemitsu is a good brand, but I have never tried it because Red Line was always less expensive whenever I was shopping for gear oil. I can't recall whether the Idemitsu gear oil is intended for LSD or non-LSD differentials, so you should check with the vendor to see if you will need to add a friction modifier.
