79 rx7 stock radio turns on but there's no sound what could be the problem

 

speaker wires not connected or your hearing aide need new batteries LOLLLL

 

If it's still a stock system, you only have two small speakers just behind the card board kick pannels ahead of each door. The originals are not high quality and could be bad. A couple screws give you access, find the speaker wires and hook up a known working speaker to begin the troubleshooting.

 

Tune in a radio station maybe? Just messin with ya!

Hear any hissing at all?

Does it have or does the cassette work?

Checked fuses?

 

maybe make sure the antenna wire is connected? if it was a honda would u know what to do?

 

Yes the radio lights are on there's No hissing last time I put a tape in it sparked and the fuses are good
