3rd Gen FD Headlight reply and wiring question
Hi,
I'm new to the Rotary scene.
(1) My son purchased a 1993 FD in which the wiring has been "abused" to say the least. Anyway we are in the process of making things right. We are currently working on the front headlight and the headlight relay is missing. Does anyone have pics or info regarding the connection from the front (F) harness to the relay? Is this a connector and does it have a designation in the schematics? I see the relay is E1-05. I see that it's supposed to be attached to the fuse box that's mounted on the left hand side shock tower but I can't find the connector for the relay or the wires (should be W/G, R, and W/L) if you believe the schematic.
(2) General question about the docs. Are the wiring diagrams generally correct in terms of wire color codes, etc.?

welcome to the forum. can't be much help on the FD but are the manuals you have the same as the ones found on the foxed.ca site?
Foxed.ca - Mazda RX-7 Manuals

Michael,
Thanks for the info. The pdf I have looks the same as the one you provided at the link, although the version at the link is far better resolution. Thanks for that. On the "location" drawing the wires appear to branch off the main pigtail near the main fuse block. They're not there on this car . Looks like I'll need to remove some of the wrap to verify this.
Thanks again.
