None, unless your car came with 3MM seals or your rotors are too worn to accept 2MM seals.

I'm rebuilding my engine and am using Atkins apex seals.They are real good not like the original ones that sometimes tend to break and ruin the housings.Atkins apex protects the housings.

So are you saying that the original Mazda seals, which have been installed on millions of rotary engines, have covered billions of miles, and hold up to massive power are somehow "not good"?

Please justify your statement.

For the record, there is NOTHING at all wrong with Mazda seals. ANY seal (except carbon seals, which are not used on turbo cars anyway) will do damage if it breaks.

The only mistake Mazda really made was going to a three piece seal with the 2nd gen. They wear out more quickly. But now Mazda OEM seals are back to two piece so this is not an issue.
