3 inch down pipe

hi jsut got my jdm rx7 was wondering if i do a 3inch down pipe to catback exhaust if it is bad for the injector seals i heard that it can blow the injector seals plz post back making a drift car and wanna know some ideas and what route i can go for this car as well as boosting up the stock turbo and what no thank you

What the heck is an injector seal? Don't ever listen to the person that said that again.

Open exhausts can overwhelm stock internal wastegates, which leads to boost creep and potentially blown engines.

For what? Read through the 2nd gen section to get familiar with common modifications made to TIIs.

I don't think much of them. They alter the boost signal to the ECU to get around fuel cut, but that also means fuel and timing are negatively affected. Chipped ECUs from pocketlogger.com (Rtek 1.5, 1.7, 1.8, 2.0+) are much better. What are your plans? Do you just want to be able to safely run more boost on the stock turbo?

for now but basically want to bore out the stock turbos waste gate and rebuild it then i can run more boost with out boost creep i dont want more then 300 hp pretty much
