2nd GEN CAS in a 1985 12A

How is a 2nd GEN's CAS fitted to a 1984-85 12A motor?

I haven't been able to find much on this and what I have found (threads about people who have done this) I haven't been able to reply to because of my post count. Anyone in this section done this? I'm looking for spark and fuel control when I install the tweakit.com throttle body system (with a Haltech) on my car.

Regards,
Alex

Yes, bolts right in. But of course, will be no use to you without a standalone.

Thanks, I plan on using a Haltech. Are there any differences between the S4/S5 CAS?

I would also use the coil packs from a S4/S5 car, right? Does it matter if the CAS is from S4 and the coil packs are from an S5?

You can use either CAS. The difference between S4 and S5 is how the CAS is wired in the harness, not the CAS itself. S4 or S5 coil packs, doesn't matter.
