Question 1st Gen not turning over

Hey guys! I was driving my 84 gsl and after parking it overnight it will not start. I am curious if anyone has seen this. I found out that I had a bad coil. I replaced the coil, and figured I would also replace the rotor, car, plugs, and wires. I still have the same problem. It is trying to turn over but the engine simply will not fire up. This is so odd to me that i can't get it to turn over especially since I was driving is daily for about a week straight. Any ideas will be helpful. Thanks!

-Chris

Is it getting fuel? Is it getting spark? What kind of compression?
Check in that order

Thanks for the help! There was a number of things that were wrong (timing being one of them). I will note my problems and post them...maybe they will be of use to someone with a similar problem.

Hopefully that someone will be me as I am having the same problem. A fellow rx7 owner on Facebook mentioned putting a lil oil down each side of the carb and see if that worked so I'm gonna give that a shot sometime this week.

I recently experienced a similar problem. I wasn't getting any fuel and saw that my fuel filter was full of junk and changed it along with my fuel pump. This solved it for me... Hope this was helpful and GOOD LUCK!

Yeah I've got low fuel pressure but I was told it should still start but that plus the timing being off could do it I guess.
