Exclamation 1988 RX7 starting issue

hello. new to rotary engines and wanting to get on board with them. just bought a 1988 rx7 from a friend of mine that passed the project on to me due to him needing to move. so far everything has been going great. the car is all put back together except for one issue. i can not figure out how to wire my crank angle position sensor to my ecu properly.

what i have is a s4 crank angle that i am trying to match to a s5 wiring harness and ecu. as far as the ecu wires being ran right everything should be up to par up until the plug that connects the two in the engine bay.

i am wondering what color wires coming off the s4 crank angle should be matched to what color wires on the s5 harness that is in the car.

i do have spark, the engine does crank over but doesn't fire, the fuel pump does prime, and i was told that the injectors are brand new.

any help would be much appreciated and looking forward to getting more involved in this forum.

thanks!
